Story[]
After consulting Ki's personal data system about what's needed for 2wingS to surpass WM, the girls are inspired to switch places for a day after realizing how little they know about each others school.
Summary[]
Ichigo and Seira return to Ki's room where Compy resides to find the girls complimenting one-another for their efforts. Ki resumes typing up information and asks what they can do to help 2wing surpass WM, but Compy asks about the differences between the two schools. None of the girls have an answer though, and with neither Ichigo or Seira knowing much about the other school, Ki and Aoi suggests that they trade places.
The following day, the girls put their plan into action. Aoi delightfully takes a picture of Seira as she introduces herself to her new, temporary classmates, while Ichigo hangs out with the Dream Academy girls and prepare to show her around. They get to work training and both try to keep in mind their goal to discover what makes their schools different. As this is going on they begin to see how different the other school is and find it very cool, with Seira trying out the trampolines while Ichigo tries the wind tunnel for appeal practice. Seira struggles with the tea making as Ichigo is shown the Producer and Designer courses.
Eventually lunch comes along and Ichigo is delighted by the meal they eat. Although she is troubled by the small amount, after Ki explains how they keep it all low-calorie. She thinks about how she normally eats a lot more- which is given to Seira, who expresses shock by the amount as Aoi and Ran point out that she sometimes even gets seconds.
Ichigo resumes training when the running machine she's on suddenly stops. She is disappointed when Ki explains that they are specifically made to stop to make sure a student doesn't overwork themselves, pointing out that she wants to keep running. But she steps off as Ki compliments her efforts and shows her the data she collected from her training. She has high stats but her stamina is even better. She goes on to show Ichigo the other top of the chain machines they have, and Ichigo remarks on how Seira uses them for her Aikatsu.
Later that day Seira makes the same remark as she jogs with Aoi and Ran, and she finds Otome, Kaede, and Yurika running opposite of them. She warns them not to push themselves too hard, but Aoi and Ran remind her that sometimes it's necessary to avoid being beaten.
That night Ichigo returns to Seira's bedroom and goes into deep thought. She realizes how different the schools are; but suddenly, Ki, Maria, and Sora show up with a special present. Maria hands her a bento she made for her and they sit down with Ichigo to chat abou her experience. She thinks Dream Academy is really cool the way it uses science for training, and how there are multiple courses, which gives everyone a lot of choices. Sora explains how she was only a designer at first but Tiara reached out to her to suggest she try idoling, with Ki bringing up how she originated as Producer, and how Maria was an idol to begin with. While they can continue to do both paths, they could also stop one to solely focus on the other if they chose to do so.
As this is going on, Tiara is shown to be staring out of her window wondering how Ichigo is seeing the school. She also wonders how Seira is seeing Starlight Academy now that she's there.
Meanwhile, a party is held by Ichigo's friends in Seira's honor. Seira remarks on how everyone is competing as rivals but they get along very well. It's because of her friends that Ichigo was able to grow, and Seira begins to miss Ki and the others.
That night in bed, Seira sleeps in Ichigo's bed as Aoi observes her, pretty excited by the change of events. But while Aoi is able to sleep Seira finds herself restless and she heads outside to observe her ID card from Dream Academy. She thinks about what Tiara told her and realizes how this played a part in her continuing to be an Idol now, but she wonders why she began the Academy in the first place. Suddenly, Naoto approaches and asks if she really wants to know. He joins her and explains that his sister talks a lot about her, and he explains that she was a concert staff member for Masquerade, maintaining the Aikatsu system due to her tech skills.
Then one day someone asked her to bring over some equipment when she overheard some girls fawning over how cool Masquerade is. One girl expressed excitement in trying to become an Idol, but she was too worried about being accepted due to how hard it can be. This made her feel sad knowing this girl had a dream she couldn't follow, and she soon realized that this was probably right about other girls too. More than anything she wanted to grant their dream. But then, when Masquerade broke up Orihime went on to become the headmistress of Starlight Academy.
One day Tiara came into the office to approach her and they began to talk casually. Orihime admits she wasn't that used to being a headmistress just yet, and she asks that Tiara just treat her the same as before. She agrees and observes the large crowd outside to remark on the thousands of girls wanting to try out. But she is concerned after Orihime mentions that they will probably only accept at least ten for now; Starlight Academy is a place for talented girls to become idols and spread their wings, so they must be responsible for their dreams, and it would be irresponsible of them to abandon a girl who couldn't make it. Tiara understands, but finds herself still perplexed by this. As she left she observed the many girls again and noted that Orihime has a point- but she doesn't want them to give up either. It was then she became inspired to make her own school filled with her beliefs.
Naoto goes on to explain that while she managed her own career and worked on this, she sacrificed a lot of sleep. He was younger, but he would visit her to find her still working, and Tiara explains how she has decided to make three courses at her school in order to allow the students freedom of choosing their own path in case another didn't work out. As long as they have passion, Dream Academy would become a place for girls to follow their dreams. He remarks on how she should clean up her mess on the floor until he sees an image of the school, and he questions her image when he sees she gave herself a stage name and she explains the meaning behind it. Naoto admits that he was surprised by it, but she earned it for managing to make her school as quickly as she did.
Eventually, Tiara and Naoto stood outside of the finalized school. It took less than a year for it to make its mark, but she's far from finished with her dream. She's only completed one part of her dream, and next she wants to debut an Idol that only Dream Academy can raise. Eventually time passed, and Tiara called Naoto to inform him that she found the perfect idol whose overflowing dream has found it's way to her. She will see to it that her dream comes true. It suddenly dons on Seira that this must have been her, and Naoto confirms this, and she is very touched.
The following day Seira and Aoi meet up with Ichigo and the other girls, and they both remark on how they've come to learn and appreciate the other school. Not only that but it caused them to realize how the school is what made them what they are today. Their schools are completely different but it's these things that make them so special.
Seira goes into the office to speak to Tiara, who is surprised by her sudden sentiment as she thanks her for making the Academy. However, Seira asks her that she watches them put on a performance in her honor and she is very touched by the gesture. The girls run out out to change into there school coords and they reappear on stage to perform "Happy Crescendo".
From the audience, Tiara yells out that the girls are amazing.
