Blooming Miracle! (咲いてミラクル！) is the 84th episode of Aikatsu! TV anime series and the 34th episode of its "2nd Season" (
Story[]
Mikuru Natsuki, the rookie idol who is also the partner of Mizuki Kanzaki, has slowly grown her popularity thanks to WM. Even so, she hasn't yet caught up with the ever brightly shining moon who made her way down just to be at her side. At a time such as this, Mizuki has offered a proposal for her rising partner…
Summary[]
Ichigo, Aoi, and Ran are currently chatting about the most recent Aikatsu Idol Ranking. As expected Mizuki is in 1st place, Ichigo in 2nd, Seira in 3rd, and Otome in 4th. Aoi brings up that she is in 7th place, and Ran sadly points out she's not even in the top ten- being in 12th. Aoi cheers her up by pointing out that in terms of modeling she will always be 1st, but Ran adds that this is only because Mizuki isn't in that ranking. It's then Ichigo wonders where Mikuru's placement is, as the ranking only shows the top twenty best idols and she isn't there.
As this is going on, Mikuru begins to complain about their upcoming schedule. She goes on to brightly admire Mizuki, noticing how much she has to do in a single day.
The duo head to practice following this and during break Mikuru stops to look at the Idol Ranking chart to find out she's in 21st place. She asks Mizuki what her goal is, but Mizuki only promises to tell her if she gets into the top ten placement. Mikuru agrees and comes up with the idea of holding a solo live in order to try to increase her ranking and Mizuki agrees, but she suggests that she speak to Kayoko, the top designer of Vivid Kiss for a Premium Dress. Mikuru asks Honoka for help and she agrees to try to speak to her, but she lives outside of Japan at the time, and it might be hard.
Later, WM is being interviewed about the upcoming live.
Elsewhere, a woman is shown to be seated on the beach. She has been giving Mikuru some thought and she speaks to someone on the phone, saying she likes her.
That night Mikuru is closing up at the flower shop when a woman calls to ask if they sell the "Miracle Flower". Mikuru reveals that is the case- in fact it's the only shop to sell it. The woman asks if she could have a bouquet of the Miracle Flower in gold, and initially Mikuru considers turning her down because of how long it can take and because of her idol career now she might not have the time. But before she can, she remembers how much she wants to make others smile and bring her customers happiness, so she agrees. After hanging up she takes the bulb out and recalls it's careful instructions about making it bloom and she waters it, hoping that it works.
For the next few days she spends time following her hectic schedule and takes care of the flower. In between she tries to get updates from Honoka about Kayoko, but sadly she's heard nothing yet.
Then one day Mikuru is invited onto a Quiz Show, where she will be up against other participants and the Quiz King. She isn't too concerned since she's sure it won't take long, but she is worried she would be able to water the flower in time for the order tomorrow. As long as the Quiz King gets the next answer right the show will end and she can leave; but when the final question ends up being about flowers she attempts to stay silent, begging the Quiz King to hurry up and answer. But as it turns out he's clueless. She considers answering wrongly to hurry up, but she can't make herself do it and tells them the correct one.
She hurries back home while noting that she must water the flower before 10pm, but by the time she gets the water out and is able to reach it, she sees it's past that and sadly observes her failure. She picks up the flower and brings it to the counter in tears, then she hopes for the best before falling asleep.
The next morning, Mikuru is shocked to see the flower has bloomed, but not in gold- instead it's in a rainbow of colors. While it isn't gold like she was asked, she's delighted by it's beauty and decides to personally apologize to the woman and offer it to her anyway. However, she needs to find out where she is and how to get there. She prepares to leave, only to discover that the roads are currently crowded with people.
Later, Mikuru thanks a man for his help in reaching the mysterious customer, and she is very surprised to see she has arrived at a party, where Mizuki is waiting for her. She asks if she ordered the flowers, but as it turns out it was another guest there: Kayoko. The mysterious woman thanks Mikuru for coming and Mikuru sadly apologizes as she hands over the flower, disappointed that she wasn't able to make it bloom in gold like she asked. However, Kayoko loves the flowers and says that she has been noticing Mikuru as of late, and she has decided to hand over the Premium Constellation Dress, the Resort Cancer Coord. As Mikuru happily accepts, Kayoko teasingly warns her not to make her regret the decision.
With that, Mikuru heads to the stage after some support from Mizuki, and she changes into her new coord to perform "Adult Mode". Afterwards, Mikuru is showered in compliments from the audience.
A while later, Ichigo, Aoi, and Ran decide to check out the Aikatsu Idol Ranking again and to their shock, they see that Mikuru has suddenly jumped down to 8th place. Ran admits that she saw Mikuru perform, and it surprised her greatly.
Meanwhile, Mikuru and Mizuki are preparing for another performance when Mizuki decides to keep her end of the bargain. She brings up that her plan is to surpass Masquerade by September. Mikuru happily approves of her idea and together, the girls say WM's catchphrase: "WM! Let's Shine!".

- Just like with Mizuki and her comeback performance, which took place on the release of the DCD 2014 - 4th Collection, Mikuru and her solo debut with her Premium Constellation Dress corresponded with the release of the DCD 2014 - 5th Collection.
- This is the first time Idols have obtained premium rares in back to back episodes.
