The Futures that I'd Like to Come True (叶えたい未来たち) is the 175th episode of Aikatsu! TV anime series and the 23rd episode of its "4th Season" (
Story[]
After Juri Kurebayashi and Lisa Shirakaba show their best stages, Nono Daichi, Rin Kurosawa and Madoka Amahane have decided to renew their thoughts. Kokone Kurisu and Miyabi Fujiwara who were in Kansai have rushed over to Starlight to support the idols. In midst of the excitement, the second day of the Starlight Queen Cup is about to begin.
Summary[]
Lisa has been feeling down since she came in second to Juri in the Starlight Queen competition. Seeing this, Nono promises to prepare some yummy food for her.
That evening, Sumire has prepared herbal tea for her and Akari, and they discuss the Starlight Queen cup. Outside, Hinaki is out jogging when she comes across Juri and they chat about their growth as idols.
Lisa speaks on the phone with her parents about how proud they are of her efforts in such a short time. Nono returns with a large Hokkaio-made meal from ingredients her parents sent to her, and Lisa apologizes for making Nono worry like this -especially since she will be performing soon- but Nono assures her it's fine. Lisa isn't too depressed over her loss, because she's just happy she could follow their long-term dream of becoming idols, and she knows she still has a lot of work to do as an idol, so she plans on Aikatsuing even harder. But first she has to support Nono, who means more to her than anything else. These words bring Nono to tears and she embraces Lisa, promising to win on her behalf.
In their room, Madoka and Rin are too anxious to sleep so they kill time through word play games.
The following morning Miyabi and Kokone have arrived at Starlight School, where they run through the entrance and find the group in the courtyard. The girls are so surprised to see them, and Kokone explains how excitedly she was to see the Starlight Queen Cup. They play along with Kokone when she gives her catchphrase, and when Nono and Lisa react with confusion, they recall how they haven't met prior to this moment and introduce them to Miyabi and Kokone.
With that, the second day of the tournament officially begins. Everyone commentating is officially reintroduced and the announcer puts up a list of the current standings from yesterday; Juri is the top idol to beat. Nono thinks about how precious this chance is for her and she promises to do her best, then she changes in the machine and appears on stage to perform "Lucky Train".
Everyone cheers for her and she returns to the waiting room where the audience observe her until her ranking is revealed. She managed to pull off an A-rank appeal like Juri and Lisa, and Orihime takes a moment to re-explain what this means for the audience, while Mizuki brings up how talented both Nono and Lisa are for new students. It's then revealed that Nono has placed second on the chart, topping Lisa but not Juri. Nono passes by Rin, who will be going next. She chooses her coord and appears on stage to perform "MY SHOW TIME". Afterwards, Rin heads into the waiting room and she also pulls off the A-rank, and she manages to surpass Lisa's score but not Nono, placing her in third. She passes by Madoka and encourages her to do her best as the announce explains Madoka will be performing last for today. She changes and on stage she performs "Hello New World", and afterwards it's revealed that she also performed an A-rank appeal and has managed to come in second place overall, surpassing Nono.
In the back room Nono apologizes to Lisa for her failure, but they don't linger on it very long since it encourages them to keep going. Madoka and Rin feel a little sad over their loss as well and they start bickering until realizing how silly it is. They agree to remain rivals and shake hands.
With that, the idols performing tomorrow are shown, and the announcers speak about whether or not someone will be able to beat Juri, or if she will become the next Starlight Queen.
